It has been two years since the battle of New York and Elise, along with SHIELD and a few Avengers, had relocated to Washington, DC. She had been getting therapy and seemed kind of happy. She had took a break from Azria Curse and field missions. Taking a silent oath with herself that she'd only return if there was a good enough reason to. After reuniting with a few of her fellow Avengers and the death of someone close to her, gave her more than enough reasons to return; and she vowed to avenge that person's death while Captain America gets blamed for the death. She finds herself, once again, teaming up with him, Black Widow, and a new member, to find the one people called a "Ghost" and bring justice to him. However, things get complicated when they see the face behind the mask and realise that they have quite the history with him.

The group of advanced individuals find themselves facing their biggest threat yet. After falling prey to a secret organization, The Avengers loses a member but gains another. With the additional assistance, they join together to face off a mind-controlled and seemingly-invincible puppet-that knows more about them than they know about each other. Now the Avengers have to make the choice to be the hero or the villain. Should they help the individual or work together to defeat them? But, who has the real power here?
