The guardian of the island, Tidesinger, whose real name was Macaque, was sharp-tongued and wickedly beautiful. At first, it was a game of survival. Wukong flirted like his life depended on it, while Macaque secided whether this foolish pirate was worth the trouble of keeping alive. But things soon turned into something far more dangerous. As Wukong unveiled the siren's secrets, he realized he wasn't just fighting for his own life, but for Macaque's, too.
