Tanjiro was from a basic family of charcol sellers when his family was attacked by demons and he was kidnapped and turned into a demon. When he and Tomioka met something about Tanjiro intrigues him and he allows him to live and never tells his fellow hashira about their encounter. Soon enough they started meeting up regularly and soon enough devolpe feelings for each other. But when the uppermoons and the hashira find out things start to take a bad turn. (Photo not mine)
