She must help her uncover many secrets, like the mystery behind her parents' death. There's nothing Laika hates more than seeing Cleo's spirits crumble, and has to fix it, for, with Cleo's emotions, the universe Laika loves will slowly wither and die.

Cleo doesn't want anything to do with her home planet that is full of horrifying memories. She wants to go far, far away, but, upon doing so, she confronts a series of things that a seventeen-year-old shouldn't have to. To surpass these obstacles, she needs to look deep into her soul and discover what makes her a light in a void of darkness. Then, she needs to use that light to help herself and the others around her, so long as her fears don't consume her.
