Wren Martin is socially awkward. She blocks off herself to the world, hiding behind her favorite hoodie. All she wants to do is keep a low profile, and graduate well enough to qualify for a college scholarship. But then a babysitting job leads her to cross paths with Asher Reed, Eastview Highʼs notorious athlete. When a field injury kickstarts his senior year, heʼs turning his free time and attention to Wren. And maybe she might not want to be invisible after all. ***** [Watty's Collector's Edition Winner] [TFA Runaway Prize Winner] [[word count: 150,000-200,000 words]] Cover designed by Ashley Santoro

Kaiser was always "rebellious and hard headed". She was a tough girl raised by her older brother Malcolm. So it was hard for her to embrace her girly and soft side. She usually never dated boys, because they were all too impatient to understand how she worked. She usually got her way when it came to everybody even Malcolm, but that list stayed short once she met King. King wasn't your typical man. He was discreet and quiet but powerful and well respected. But he did have some parts about him that were typical. He was part of the drug cartel along with Kaiser's brother Malcolm. King and Kaiser were never supposed to cross paths. They are both hard headed and stubborn, but put these two together and mix intense emotions, there is nothing anyone can do.

There was no time to prepare for the pandemic when it came. No one knows where the disease took shape or how it swept around the globe so quickly, taking most of the poor souls it infected. Nearly twenty years later, the origins don't even matter anymore. Society has all but crumbled and factions wage war for the privilege of rebuilding to their own ideals, turning to imperialistic methods to sustain their efforts. This turbulent, feudal-like world is the only one Caydence has ever known. Like many others, Caydie survived the pandemic by getting sick, but beating the disease was only the beginning. Now she has a secret, one that has condemned many others like her. Simply lying low is no longer an option and surviving has become just a little more complicated.
