Being the leader of a band of assassins and thieves isn't easy. For Elena, this is her life and she happens to be the most notorious and deadliest assassin in the land. Not only does the king want her head on a pike, but Elena must go through many ordeals which involve battling monstrous creatures, witches, and other beings. Through thick and thin she tries to keep her men safe, but troubles arise when someone dangerous from her past pays her a visit.
