Joining the army has always been Emily's dream. She finally joined once she graduated school at the age of 17. By the time she passed basic at Pirbright she was 18. Her first foreign deployment was to Kenya with 2 section headed by Captain James, someone Emily knew all her life because he served under her father when he was in the military. Also on the deployment was Georgie, Emily's friend someone she knew for years who helped her join the army and deciding what she wanted to do.
