"you are my melody," iwaizumi hajime had always known that between him and oikawa tooru, girls flocked to his best friend. oikawa was the type of guy that most girls preferred, someone who had a line of girls following him around because of his dashing looks. he always thought that if someone were to choose between him and his best friend, it would be oikawa in a blink of an eye. he accepted that fact since long ago, so when a pretty girl who was also a new face to the school confessed to him instead of his best friend, he was oblivious and didn't believe it at first. matsui yua was the type of girl who was used to getting attention whether she liked it or not, being a former student at a famous idol school. when her life suddenly fell apart right in front of her, she was so close to giving up everything in her life along with her own dreams. happiness seemed so far away to the girl, not until one day, she encountered a certain person under a sakura tree who was so fixed on telling her not to give up. so when she finally decided to start a new life a couple of years later and leave behind all her sorrows from her past, she was surprised when she saw a familiar face she's been looking for all this time. a fateful day, one sakura tree. it was all it took for her to find the melody she was looking for in so long.
