** Special Note ** This story will be edited at a later date to fit my current writing style, however, I am leaving this first very rough draft up until then. Highest Ranking -- # 1 in General Fiction - Feb 2015 to April 2015 Twenty-two year old Lea Mason didn't mind living a boring life far from the limelight that her parents enjoyed. In fact, she thrived in the solitude and mundane routines that she surrounded herself with. Carter Stephens, crime boss extraordinaire, enjoyed dishing out pain and punishment to those that dared to cross him. His only rules for life were simple: keep your friends close, but your enemies closer, know their every weakness and use that weakness to destroy them, never leave a witness alive, and never, under absolutely no circumstance, feel. **All rights reserved. While trying to get through high school, Carson has always noticed the same routine with Jesse - the school's 'player', as some like to say. He would leave countless girls crying, and he'd find someone else soon after. But when that someone else is Carson herself, she promises that she won't be the one crying when it's all over. The characters are highly complex and they exist in a world that values strength over compassion, only the strong survive. The life inside the pack mimics that of a real wolf pack with a strict hierarchy that is established through fighting and power. It is also comparable to a medieval court, the king holds his divine right to rule and the queen exists solely to please and support the king. Throw in scheming courtiers with the ability to change into wolves with sharp claws and fangs and you have the pack construct. As the characters are basically wolves housed in a human skin and the story is laced with animalistic references and traits displayed by all. We first meet the main characters Meela and Grey it is on a bloody battlefield where they recognize each other as their soul mate, and Grey takes Meela as tribute for his pack's help in her brother's fight. From this point on Meela belongs to Grey, and in this world, a highly spirited female with a propensity for impulsive actions matched to a dog stubborn, self-assured, dominant male is going to cause problems. We follow Meela in her journey to become the pack's Luna, a pack who are even more wolf than the one she comes from, and with a mate who has set the highest standards for her to reach as his Luna(female Alpha) and will accept nothing less than perfection. In the midst of all this and the struggle they face to form a personal and public relationship, there is one incident that will change them both and the fate of the pack completely. From that point on both Meela and Grey are inevitably changed and for them to be together, either one or both needs to change, but when you live in a world where you are taught that weakness is easily exploited and to admit defeat can potentially lead to your destruction. Thank you @chortle for the great summary

He's undercover. She's under him. All the pieces to Carrie's life were finally falling into place. She had a great career, a handsome fiancé, a house of her own. Everything was perfect until she met sexy, seductive Nick Granger, her fiancé's new coworker. Nick is as intriguing as he is charming, and though Carrie's never cheated once in her life, she finds it nearly impossible to resist him. When a supposed-to-be one-night stand turns into an ongoing affair, Carrie finds herself trapped between marrying the man she thinks she loves and leaving him for the man she can't say no to. But when her fiancé's secrets start to unravel, Carrie discovers he isn't the perfect, faithful man she thought he was. However, Nick has secrets as well. EXCERPT: "Nick," the man said with a flirty smile, taking my hand in his and pressing his lips to the back of my hand, lingering momentarily and then letting go. I felt my face heat up and suddenly wished I'd piled on the foundation so that no one would notice how extreme the blush creeping up my cheeks was. "Nice to meet you," I said quietly, hoping my voice didn't really sound as shaky to everyone else as it did to me. "Likewise," Nick said, keeping his eyes locked on mine. I started to wish I had worn a dress that wasn't so revealing. I loved this dress because it showed off my figure and my cleavage perfectly and made me feel like a model. But under Nick's stare, I felt naked, and by the looks of his smirking expression, he probably wished I was. © 2017 Evergreen Books. All rights reserved. "Say it" he growled in my ear pulling my head back by my hair. He slowed down his entire body and I whimpered in protest. "No" I sobbed, I didn't want to g down, at least not like this. "All you have to do is say it" he whispered in my ear. I wiggled my body and tried to get some type of action, but I only made it worst, keeping me on the edge. "SAY IT!" he yelled. "Fine! I'm yours, no one else can have me" I whimpered, and he whispered the one word that changed my life. "Come" WARNING!!! I am currently editing this book, chapters might be missing.

Café Rouge is the small french cafe that Lola's father has poured his heart and soul into. She'd never thought, he'd acquired it through...darker means. The Italian mob to be more precise. Now it's collection time and Lola's paying the price. Trading herself for her father's life-Lola finds herself in the hands of the incredibly frustrating, confusing and very good looking mob son's boss-Carlos. She's convinced that with Carlos there's nothing more than what meets the eye; a cold-hearted, killer but could she be wrong? Warning: First chapter goes fast since it was taken from a One-Shot. I will be editing this along with the rest of the book much later so bear in mind the story does get better :)
