"Been about you, since I met you and imma keep it that way" You're special to me. You're the only one who I wouldn't mind losing sleep for, the only one who I can never get tired of talking to, and the only one who crosses my mind constantly throughout the day. You're the only one who can make me smile without trying, bring down my mood without the intention to and affect my emotions with every action of yours. I can't explain with just words how much you mean to me, but you're the only one I'm afraid of losing and the one I want to keep in my life. So, please don't leave me. ~April 18, 2021 ~July 21, 2021 Rankings: #4 in mentaldisorder 9/16/2021 #6 in highschoolsweethearts 9/16/2021 #38 in urban 9/16/2021 #14 in blacklove 9/16/2021 #5 in angerissues 9/16/2021 #12 in urbanromance 9/16/2021 #3 in bwbm 9/16/2021 #20 in contemporarylit 9/16/2021 #29 in urbanstory 9/16/2021 #2 in africanamerican 9/16/2021

"You trust me?" he asked, eyes turning soft once they made contact. "Maj, I-I-" "I said do you trust me, Lucky?" he repeated, voice hard. "...yes," she breathed out, and his next words came without hesitation, sending a chill down her spine. "Then shoot."

A promise. It seems like the simplest thing in the world to keep. But so often, they're broken, empty and hollow. They seem like the easiest thing in the world to believe, but after the words are left out to bleed, after they leave you waiting and wanting, after all the emptiness and hollow words-how are you going to believe the one who actually say what they mean?

"I know I should've talked to you about it but I-" I started but stopped, looking down at my feet again. I had no excuse. The only thing on my mind was graduating, I never put his feelings into perspective. "Dominic, I'm sorry. I was being selfish and only thinking of myself but baby, I promise if you give me another chance.." I trailed off, breathing heavily. "..if you give us another chance, I'll never do it again. I promise." I tried to grab his face but he roughly pulled away from me. "Don't touch me." He spoke sternly, breaking me even more. "Look.." He trailed off, looking away again. "Me and you..we're done." He spoke, finally looking down at me. "Dominic." I pleaded. "Don't say that. Please." "Na', this shit is over, T." He went on and I began to sob.

"Montana, come here." He nodded his head toward the door, leaving out of the room. Staying silent as Ms. Carol looked at me, I kissed the back of Josiah's hand before leaving out of the room. As I walked out, Messiah stood there looking at me in disgust while I closed the door. "What are you doing that shit for?" "Huh?" I said since I had nothing else to say, just trying to stall time to get my words together. "Why are you stripping, Monty?" Sighing, I decided that I wasn't going to lie like I'd originally planned to do after listening to Chocolate's stupid advice. "Money." I spoke simply and he scoffed as I looked down. "Why not just ask Josiah for money instead doing hoe shit?" "First of all, It's not doing hoe shit. I don't have sex with anyone. I just dance. And I don't want to ask him for any money. It's not his job to take care of me." "So stripping..." He trailed off with a laugh. "..stripping was the last resort? Instead of putting your pride aside?" Saying nothing, I just looked at him with pleading eyes. "Please don't tell him, Messiah." I could already tell by the look on his face that he was going to tell him. "I ain't gon' tell him.." Thank God. I thought. "..you are." "What?!" I shrieked. "No. I'm not." "You are." He spoke in a demanding tone. "Please. You know how he is." I expressed "And you know how he is too but you made that bed." "Messiah, he's going to kill me." I begged. "I know." He shook his head, walking away from me. "Better figure it out. You got until the end of the day to tell him or I will." He mumbled before walking back into the room.

"Hello, Sincere. How are you feeling today?" "Same as everyday, can't sleep, can't eat.." I trailed off, looking down at Sinclair who had a perfect mixture of both V and I. "That's not good." She said and I shrugged. "None of this is." I said and she nodded understandingly. "Have faith." She said, placing her hand on my shoulder and I nodded. I tried hard to keep the tears in because I had to be strong for everybody. The family was really going through it and I just wanted her back in my arms. V had my heart and if I lost her for good, I'd never look for love again. The doctor walked out as I sat there quietly and Clair looked over my face while she made spit bubbles. I bit my bottom lip, holding back tears as I looked at V laying there with tubes in her. Not able to hold on any longer, I broke down. "Baybeh, I need you..." I trailed off, shaking my head. "I need you so bad, I can't do this shit. I can't do life with you." I explained, looking down at the floor. "We need you, ma." My voice cracked, looking over to Sinclair who was still looking up at me. "Our baybeh girl is so beautiful, ma. I want you to see her, I want you to see her grow up. I want you to be here with us.." I trailed off, collecting my words. I wiped my face as more tears poured down and I shook my head, sighing deeply. "Wake up, baybeh." I spoke, breaking down as I bit my bottom lip.

He tilted my chin to face him again and he whispered. "Say it, darling." "What?" I whimpered out. "I am yours and you are mine." He stroked my cheek with his thumb. He brought his lips to the base of my jaw and started kissing down. "I-I am yours." I was breathing heavily. "And you are mine." Damien came back to my face, smiled, and kissed my lips again. *** Naya Belle Gardner has been through a lot. In less than a year she lost her entire family and was sent away to a rehabilitation center. After being cooped up in there, she was just released. She decides she should get far away from there and moves back to New York. She wants a new life. Her plan was to stay in her small apartment, find a job, and hopefully make enough money for a good living. However, that doesn't go as planned once she meets him. Damien Amante is the local gang leader of the Scarlet Vipers. He's mean, rude, and doesn't care about anyone else's feelings. Before quite literally running into the new girl in town, he only lived life for sex and fights. Once he met her, though, that all changed. It seemed like the universe wanted them to end up together, even after trying to push her away with the multiple rude comments. Will Naya let Damien treat her like that? How will she deal with her past coming back to haunt her? To what extent will he go to protect her? This isn't a story about finding love. Rather it's a story about fighting the obstacles that try to end it. #1 in Promise (12•10•21) #1 in Gangs (6•9•22) #1 in HimandHer (3•19•23) #9 in Love (6•9•22) #2 in Laugh (5•15•22) #2 in Hot (1•5•22) #8 in Sexy (1•5•22) #2 in Party (1•9•22) #8 in Darling (1•7•22) #2 in Leather Jackets (1•12•22) #2 in Damien (1•15•22) #2 in Naya (6•1•22) #4 in Couple (2•20•22) #6 in Motorcycle (4•4•22)

There are many lines in this world we shouldn't cross: the line between right and wrong, the line between ethics and morals, the line between love and hate... There are many lines that are drawn out for a reason, but they're also drawn out thin, making it impossible to not slip to the other side at least once. ------------- Hannah Hale has never been one to cross the lines. She's never desired to. When her best friend Olivia forces her to sneak into a club one night, she's already crossed the line of right and wrong. Getting caught at the wrong place at just the right time throws Hannah into a whole new world that she never knew about. A world that causes her to cross every line possible. Ace Russo is the heir to the Sicilian Mafia. He's cold, evil, and ruthless. Most importantly, he has no problem crossing the lines. When a drug deal in America goes awry, he's forced to cross the line, and border, by kidnapping a witness and holding her hostage in Sicily. The question is, should lines ever be crossed?
