A typical multiverse. A typical situation. Typical characters. But a shadow watches over them, waiting. They are oblivious to the darkness lurking right beneath their noses. After a few weeks of not sleeping, barely eating and his mind torturing him he decided one day that his plan was in action, he was no longer alive and he was no longer tommy.
