Siegfried didn't care for much. Not for school, not for his family, not even his future. And nothing changed when he met you. He still didn't want to be bothered. A careless man as he ever was, Siegfried went through life with a careless smile and a joke for everything.
Ludwig is not so different. From his apathy to everything except structure, he is without the smile but one with the carelessness for petty things in life. He only cared for order, control.
Two opposing forces so alike collide in a common way, over a lover. and everything seems to crumble in their grasp.
It's not a matter of survival, not a matter of life or death. It barely means a thing in the whole play of the world, yet it consumes each boy's life. They just want an end. Both want their end.
