This story was inspired by @Shizuosqueen and their story one shot the unsealed kings. Ao lie was thought to have been hit with the fire all those thousands of year ago.. but something was not what it seems, a secret was made between ao lie and sun wukong to protect the world and when lbd came to power in LMK.. wu Kong tried to keep the promise he made with the young dragon those year ago to never reform the dangerous fire. So this is a story takes place after they fought lbd and after everything calmed down and came back to normal. Well almost normal... I got a bit inspired by the creator s1lly_cut1e_p1e so please go check them out their stories are amazing

"You were never supposed to see them! I should've burned those letters when I had the chance!" Macaque screamed, his eyes were clear with rage and he snarled deeply at his formal enemy and ex lover, Sun Wukong. Wukong's nose scrunched up and he inhaled deeply as he glared at Macaque. "I'm glad you didn't." ---------------------------------------------------- One late night, MK accidentally stumbles into Macaque's lair. What he found was one of the last things he would've expected. Letters. Letters from the past. Most were from Macaque to Sun Wukong, but they were never sent. Only a few were from the Monkey King. But before MK could get a better look, Macaque just so happened to show up. [MACAQUE GETS THERAPY/REDEMPTION AU] Sun Wukong and The Six-eared Macaque used to be best of friends. They were the Sun and Moon, they were inseparable! They were exactly the same but total opposites at the same time, and they basked in that fact. They were two of a kind... Until Wukong killed Macaque out of anger. From that, neither will recover. Macaque was revived and roamed the earth once more, but he wasn't the same. Nowadays, Wukong has a successor. A young, bright, happy human named Mk. Macaque goes on to antagonize Mk, attacking him, fooling him, trapping his friends- Until one day Macaque finds himself at the Kid's mercy soon after Lady Bone Demon's defeat. Mk refuses to harm Macaque despite the past and instead opts to take him to Sandy's for his wounds and a bit of therapy. Macaque begrudgingly goes and it seems fine at first. When Red Son's mother, Princess Iron Fan, humiliates him in front of the entire Monkie Gang, he decides he's had enough and goes ballistic on her. Once he's realised what he's done, it's too late.
