Maddox's work keeps her busy, too busy for an actual relationship. This has never bothered her since no one has managed to hold her interest... at least not until now. A Rafael Barba/original female character story. I originally posted it on AO3 under a different title (one I've never really liked) and am rewriting it as I post it here. It started from an idea I was kind of playing with and has an unconventional start, but as I kept writing I really started to like the development of the relationship, so much so, that it become the first story I actually finished. There's smut... lots of smut, fluffy bits too. I've fudged Barba's age a bit because I wanted Maddox to be in her mid twenties and a fifteen year age gap was as large as I was willing to go. It has thirty five chapters and I will work on rewriting them in between new chapters for my other stories. They need a lot of work. The first four were posted at once because that's the point I decided I liked the story enough to originally post it.

Rafael Barba/original female character. Lydia Coleman arranged to complete an internship for her doctoral program with Manhattan SVU, volunteering her time as a victim advocate. She gets along great with the detectives, their snarky ADA is a different story. Though neither would admit it, they both kind of like the banter. Note: Twenty-one chapters of this story are complete, but need a lot of love as I rewrite them. I have mixed emotions when it comes to ending this story...
