As the group of Slytherins sat down, Ginny noticed that Blaise was watching her, and when they made eye contact, he gave her a wink followed by a grin. Ginny felt her face heat up and she looked down at her desk, her brow furrowing. "Everything alright?" Hermione asked quietly. Ginny nodded silently and kept her eyes down, which only made Blaise chuckle from the other side of the classroom. "What's got you in a good mood?" Draco asked, raising an eyebrow at his friend. "Just having some fun," Blaise answered, shrugging. Draco rolled his eyes and looked over at the other side of the room where Blaise had been looking moments before. He noticed that the Weasley girl looked very embarrassed about something, and Hermione shot a look over to their area, catching his gaze. He held it for a few moments before nodding at her slightly. Her eyes widened in surprise but she nodded in return before looking away, focusing on the front of the classroom. He thought he saw her cheeks turn slightly more pink, but before he could get a good look Professor Flitwick stepped up onto his podium and the class quieted down. Hello lovelies! "What do you want, Malfoy?" She asked angrily. He tutted at her as he sat down. "Is that any way to treat a client?" Her brow furrowed as she narrowed her eyes. "If you're here to waste my time, I'm going to ask you to leave." "I would never waste your time," He answered, leaning sideways in the chair and bringing up one leg to rest his ankle over his knee, smiling at her. "I do have an actual problem that you need to help me with." "From the way I see it, I don't need to help you with anything," She retorted. "Now, I will ask again: what do you want?" He sighed and shook his head slightly. "You will need to help me, actually, unless you want an unstable werewolf at the next full moon." She stared at him, her mouth dropping slightly. "You've got to be joking." His expression turned more serious. "I most certainly am not, Granger." "You're a werewolf." Brand new story! Takes after the theory of Draco being bitten by Fenrir Greyback after Lucius failed to retrieve the prophecy, and the story takes place 5 years after the battle in 2003. Enjoy everyone! How did it feel? It felt like he was barely holding it together. She, of all people, should shun him. Or yell at him. Curse him. Spit at him. Take out her wand and blast him off the face of the earth. It was crushing guilt and relief and confusion all at once when he looked at Hermione Granger. The monotony of Draco's daily routine had become both a lifeline and a noose. But this new habit of grabbing morning coffee with Hermione Granger is quickly becoming a reason to get out of bed and is unfortunately forcing him to re-evaluate his inconsequential existence. Hermione is living her life in fragments, separate pieces scattered about, and she can't find a way to step back and let the full picture form. Why is morning coffee with Draco Malfoy the only thing that makes sense anymore? *cover art created by @eternallyreadinggoodthings

Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger? Impossible some would say but nothing is impossible. True love always conquers in the end and hopefully it will conquer in this story too. The war is over at long last and with some hard labour, time and a final wave of the wand, Hogwarts is reconstructed to look like its old self. The secret passageways, the pesky house elves and the magnificent food. It's only fair to let the people who missed their last year of Hogwarts to come back and have all the opportunities that they could ever want. This is why Harry, Ron and Hermione came back to Hogwarts, thankful to be away from the chaos of people asking for their photographs and signatures. Draco Malfoy also came back after being cleared of his previous records. He has always had strong feelings for Hermione but had never acted on them. He had decided to stay away from her this year but that was made difficult as Hermione was Head Girl and he was Head Boy. Will the two most unlikely people fall in love at long last?

Malfoy's handsome face was contoured into a condescending smirk. "No faith in that giant brain of yours, Granger?" She looked up at him defiantly. "Maybe I don't have any faith in you!" she said, raising her voice. Malfoy only looked at her. You'll find I'm very surprising. Hermione felt the pounding in her ears again. She would see him for the first time since the Great Hall, gaunt and stricken at the Slytherin table with his mother clutching his arm. She hadn't meant to look for him. Not in the corridors, not beneath the white sheets of the fallen, not on the way to the Chamber of Secrets with Ron, but she was a stupid girl.
