After disapparating from the Shrieking Shack Severus wakes up at the bottom of a cliff, battered by an angry sea. Detective Inspector Hermione Granger is determined to find him, if he's still alive.

As some of you requested, this is my version of Blue Lagoon, but told with my OTP Harry Potter pairing Snamione/Snager. Set after the wizarding war. Seven years after Lord Voldemort was defeated by Harry Potter, war veteran Severus Snape needs a vacation from Hogwarts and the wizarding world. He hopes a change in scenery will help him to finally relax after a lifetime of violence. What he didn't count on was being stranded on a deserted island, forced to survive with the insufferable know it all herself, Hermione Granger...

"No!" Hermione's beautiful, pain-filled voice tore through me. I spun and watched as she sank to the earth, tears streaming down her porcelain cheeks. My gaze flew to what she was staring at, and the air was knocked out of me as if by an invisible punch to the gut. Wendell Granger had blood dripping from his nose and ears. His black, empty eyes were staring into the sky, and his chest was as still as the ground he lay upon. 𝙉𝙤! Hermione had been so strong, so brave the whole time and to have it all break apart at the last moment had set my blood on fire, engulfing me with rage. With little time remaining, Hermione Granger manages to save the painfully dying Potions Master's life. Not much time passes when a strange twist in fate ensnares Wendell and Monica Granger in the complex web of the Wizarding World and find themselves able to perform magic as if born to it. When Severus comes across the Grangers new situation, he jumps to aid them - wanting nothing to befall his saviors' parent's lives. However she is taken by surprise when she has a chance encounter with someone who might as well have been a ghost. Meanwhile, Severus Snape is trying to outrun ghosts of his own past. Even though they vow to stay out of each other's way- they never really liked each other after all- life had other plans. What starts off as a classic mix-up of affairs with mistaken identities and exchange of notes, ends up being the most memorable holiday of her life.
