Quinn's life has been shit. Her dad left her and her mom when she was 5. Her mom still can't pay off all of the debt and they're stuck in a crummy apartment. Quinn's mom has been sort of messed up since her dad left, so Quinn has started smoking and self-harming. On her first day of high school, she learns that that a 'famous' kid, Hayes Grier is going to be attending her school. Somehow, Hayes takes interest in her and forces himself into her life, which changes Quinn's life.
