"Tell me something, Mikasa. Do you think there's music in heaven?" "What do you mean?" "Like is there music at all? Do angels dance the same way we do?" It's two weeks before The Heavenly Stairs of Dance Competition, and the coach has recruited a new dancer to their team. Mikasa doesn't like Hanji, and can't stand her always happy attitude. Nothing explains how that crazy dancer thinks, and she doesn't feel like she wants to know. But, when they find out their results, Mikasa can't hold herself back from confronting Hanji about it.

Annie Leonhart and Armin Arlert are quickly forced to be together as Armin is caught in the nerdiest of crimes and Annie is pressed under the thumb of Principal Erwin Smith. They must now work together to keep Armin's good name intact and Annie's grades high enough to stay in good terms with Principal Smith. NO SMUT YET

Power vanishes over time, and with it comes a vulnerability that Annie never wanted to feel. Her body was no longer able to keep stable within crystalline form. Faced with execution, she finds refuge within an unlikely foe. Titans and humans are two different creatures, but where does the fine line between a shifter fall? Annie needs to find the answer before it's too late.

"Do you take requests?" I asked. "Not typically is how I would answer," she replied as she scanned over my figure. "But, that would be a lie. Just like how you lied to get in here. So, new face. Who exactly are you?" Annie didn't care for games and fun like most people do. She wanted to get away and into exuberant things that she shouldn't. And for the most part, she succeeded. But, Annie felt her blood run cold as her whole effort to get in and out of a bar unnoticed was about to be put down by this mysterious pianist. Her options were limited and few, but she could do nothing to turn away.

Sometimes the best moments were those that lasted forever and felt too short at the same time. At least, that's how Annie felt. But, it was hard to keep those feelings inside for so long when the one she loved was lost long before she ever knew she loved her.

Annie had a good life and a good relationship once but now she was reminded of her mistakes every time she laid eyes on her body. She needed to start over. She had a new home, new friends, and a new job, but the tattoo on her arm was nothing anymore. Annie finds a local ink shop in the new town and decides to take a chance to try again, this time of her own accord.

Annie Week 2020 - Prompts set by @JesterEddin Day 2: Pets/Animals/Cats Annie is a therian hunter, one who specializes in culling shapeshifters. Her tainted blood has left her with an uncanny tracking ability to find even the most remote and skilled therians. As she travels from town to town, she stumbles upon a small farming community who suspects a that there is a therian lurking along the outskirts. Annie assures that she will take of it only she finds the trail leading to a far off area, a treacherous cliffside where the scent suddenly ends.

Written for Annie Week 2020 with prompts set by JesterEddin Day 3: Pirates/Witch No matter where Annie goes, trouble is not far behind. This time, she has overstepped her boundaries and as her crew eggs her on, she confronts the wrong enemy. Bombed by the other pirate crew, her ship is in shambles and her crew is stranded on a shore of some cold grove in a little inlet off route. It isn't until she spots someone in the forest that she realizes they aren't alone.

Annie Week 2020 - Prompts set by @JesterEddin Day 6: Strawberry Fields/Travel Memories are powerful. They can carry the greatest moments in life, but they can also carry the worst. Regret is a double-edged sword only combatting blind rage. Annie had many emotions regarding her past and had no reason to ever go back. But, when she saw the letter sitting on her table from her father, her sentiment got the best of her.

Annie Week 2020 - Prompts set by @JesterEddin Day 4: Music/Instrument Annie was born mute. As a siren, it was an oddity that had never occurred before, but her vocal cords never developed correctly. She was a siren who couldn't sing. She was ashamed for this defect she could not help but made up what she could in strength. She was fierce and could bring down anyone who crossed her path be it sea dweller or land walker. And yet, she could not stop wanting to stay alongside her clan making songs of great warriors, songs of sweet sinful nights, or just songs to make a man dance. It wasn't until a certain siren noticed her in the deep dark depths that she was suddenly pushed into the light.
