Dentre as diversas histórias da mitologia grega, essa é uma das mais especiais. Tanto pela sua originalidade e pela suas aventuras incomparáveis. Mas o carácter que torna essa historia tão especial é o improvável romance entre um homem e uma ninfa. Orfeu e Eurídice não segue à risca o conto original, mas utiliza-se de liberdade criativa para criar uma história mais abrangente.

Ja faziam umas duas semanas desde que o belo templo grego de Hades havia sido destruído pela santa inquisição. 19 das 20 sacerdotisas haviam morrido na fogueira. A mais nova delas recebera um sentença pouco menos cruel, fora amarrada à um tronco em uma praça em Roma. Naquela noite uma tempestade praguejava contra a cidade como se Zeus estivesse se vingando dos homens. Um raio em especial caiu no tronco no qual a menina havia sido amarrada. A madeira partiu-se ao meio soltando a corda que prendia a garota. Ela correu. Correu até o porto onde implorou a um mercador que saía com um barco para que ele a deixasse onde quer que ele estivesse indo. Ele cobraria um preço ao fim da viagem e ela aceitou sem muita escolha. Foram 6 horas de barco até Veneza e quando chegaram ela pagou o preço. O homem tocou-a de modo bruto e horrível mas era menos cruel do que morrer pelas chamas. Ela conseguiu voltar a caminhar após algumas horas. Seu ventre doía. Percorreu toda Veneza batendo de porta em porta suplicando por ajuda. Foi xingada por muitos, molhada por baldes de água e ferida pelos mais furiosos. Já tinha anoitecido quando foi surrada por um servo de um senhor dono de uma das belas mansões daquele lado. Ficou lá, caída na calçada.

She could feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins as she slapped the horse once again to go faster. Where she was heading, Christine had no thought off. All she knew was her life was pending and the time was running out. Behind, unmoving from her spot Persefoni stood with her warriors. Grabbing Daeril's stack of bows and arrows she slung the carrier over her shoulders. "My queen, how long with this adventure take?" Eddie whispered hoarsely as he eyed Persefoni's blood lust face. She was stealthy with her movement seeming as if she had sunk herself into rage. "An hour" Persefoni vented head clouded with greed. She wanted Christine to suffer. "Should we follow?" Daeril stated eyeing the direction Christine had gone. Persefoni scuffed "Don't insult me" Tightening her sword around her waist she slung the carrier tighter "If I come back with her in my arms alive" Persefoni paused knowing the chance being null and void "Don't question it" With a soft yet effective kick to the horse stomach, the beast sped off in regards to capture. Persefoni slung her helmet protectively over her head as she adorned herself fully in stainless metal. A slow hum left her lips hauntingly as the vast greenery slipped past her vision as only one target was in her mind. "Christine" Persefoni mumbled "My sweet Christine"
