*Hiatus* Izuku didn't want her to worry anymore. She had done enough worrying for him. He didn't deserve her concern. He was just a useless Deku. He didn't have a quirk like everybody else, so why? Why did she do it? Why did she give her own life for him? He should have gone instead. Maybe then, if he was gone, she could be happy. But she was gone now. So it was impossible. He still remembers what she had said to him. When he ran to her side when she was taking her last breaths. "Don't cry baby.... Mama loves you... b-be a g..great... hero... s-someday...." He remembers the lifeless look in her eyes. He tried so hard to wake her up. He remembers his father's maniacal laughter. His body shaking from his sobs. From the fear. He didn't want her to leave him behind, not yet. He still needed her. But it was too late.
