When Harry was little, he hated living in Oak Hollow. It was a stuck-up neighborhood in the suburbs full of broken families and white picket fences. But then, on a hot Summer day, a strange boy wearing heart-shaped sunglasses moves in across the street.

Louis and Harry have always been close mates nothing more but, quickly something happens and they are more than friends that is until management finds out.

Nineteen year old Harry Styles meets his sister's new boyfriend, Louis Tomlinson, fo the first time. Louis makes a good impression on him -- maybe too good of an impression that leads Harry to develop some sort of feelings for him. Harry struggles between knowing it's wrong to be into his sister's significant other, and knowing what he feels for Louis is something he can't ignore. Featuring skinny-dipping in Texas waterfalls, getting lost in the desert, stargazing under the New Mexico sky, performing in front of crowds that grow in size each night, and falling in love on the road during the greatest summer of their lives.

Harry breaks up with his boyfriend a day before Valentine's Day and Louis tries to cheer him up.

They had to pull back for air. Louis surveyed the guy's face, in awe of his blown pupils and sharp jawline, the way their shared spit glistened on his lips. "Hi," he breathed. He blinked, and came back to himself a little bit, blushing at his own boldness. "Sorry. Is this okay?" The stranger removed his right hand from the curve of Louis' waist in order to cup his jaw, tilting it up to the angle he desired. He pressed their lips together, murmuring, "Definitely." And then he kissed harder. (When Louis sees his ex-boyfriend kissing a random girl at a party, he acts out of blind jealousy. He kisses the first guy he can find. It turns into a thing.)
