She liked going to her classes and doing school work until a new student arrives and is the complete opposite of her, but he holds a mysterious secret, one that could flip her entire worl upside down. It's been almost seven months since National City was invaded by the daxamites and from the big lightning storm hitting the city alarming everyone. For Kara it was a very hard price to pay, she lost one of her friends, Mon-El, he had to leave Earth cause of a bomb of lead made by Lena Luthor that forced the daxamites to abandoned Earth before dying. It was hard to see her friend leave her home like this. But what made her life fall apart was seeing her boyfriend, Barry Allen and also National's scarlet speedster leaving her by going into the speedforce after it became unstable creating a big lightning storm that could destroy everything in her path and saving again the city. So this story started with Kara dealing with the loss of Barry and how her friends are worried about her.

Kara has always had feelings for Barry but she buried them deep within her heart. Until one day she wakes up and everyone thinks she's Iris. How will Kara deal with this situation? Will she make the best of it? Or will her fears and morals get the best of her?
