the sun felt horribly hot on your face, the sand on the ground wasn't making it any better. a mix of voices with different pitches and tones ran through your head, but you couldn't process them. you gave a small grumble and furrowed your eyebrows. suddenly, the blazing heat seemed to cool off a bit, as if something, or someone has came between you. the voices became louder, clearer. and as you opened your eyes, you were met with the most unusual being. --------- Reader is a female in this fanfic! After the defeat of the Eggman Empire, what's left of the Resistance is cleaning up. (Y/n) left to go help others around the planet and Sonic went his own way. However, when familiar enemies start making appearances, the two heroes have to reunite, though challenges face them at every corner. It really is survival of the fittest, isn't it? A/n: This is based off Sonic Forces.

You were alone in your room a lot on the Space Colony Ark. The only reason you were there was because of your sister Maria. Shadow would never speak to you unless if Maria wanted him to which only made it more clear to you the hard facts of reality. He was here to save Maria. Not you. Or at least, that's what everyone thought.

(Y/n) the (A/t) is a notorious criminal. Usually, Sonic the Hedgehog is busy with the infamous Doctor Eggman, but when he's not, he's hunting her. However, when the mad doctor develops a new weapon that weakens Sonic, (Y/n) saves him from a close call, taking him to the place where the criminals like her dwell. Still suffering from the effects of the weapon, Sonic has no choice but to learn how to survive in a darker world with (Y/n) as his guide.

(Y/N), a depressed girl. When (Y/N) was only a child, she would see her mother and father fight. But when she asks one of them, they would simply state it was just a misunderstanding and nothing was really wrong. Since she was so young back then, she believed their words. In school, she was always being bullied. She didn't want her mother to know, so she asked her dad for help. But his dad ignored and said they will soon stop. As (Y/N) grow up, she's slowly becoming aware of what's happening around her. Her parents would now frequently argue with each other than they used to before. Their fights only got worse as time passed. She didn't believe in their excuses anymore. She knew something was wrong. At that stage, she felt her own parents despise her. She can see and sense they didn't love her anymore. The bullying In school got physical. (Y/N) was depressed. She felt nothing but loneliness. One day (Y/N) was waiting for her father to get her in school, but no sight of him came. She decided to go home by herself knowing he might be busy due to his work. When she got home she saw the lights were off. It was oddly quiet too. She called her parents but no one responded. She then knew they had abandoned her. After her parents leave, she can only trust herself. She was only loved by herself. She learned how to survive everyday by herself. But luckily, some of her neighbors knew her situation and would make small helps. But despite that, her situation only made her more depressed. Knowing her parents won't come back for her anymore. Knowing she can never receive the love she always yearns.

I had an idea, and I can't really say that it's a good one. Might as well start posting it! Months after the war ends, Sonic's buddy comes back to Resistance HQ bruised and beaten. Someone's after the once rookie and now it's up to Sonic and his friends to help her. But first things first; what even IS that kid's name?
