Life is always fun when you never get into trouble for causing mischief. Julie is a pro at keeping her packmates on their toes with her innocent fun. It's a perk of being a Comforter and never losing her puppy-like appearance. Admittedly, there are times when her skills are needed, and she takes her job quite seriously then. She isn't a fighter, but rather, is one who cares for others' hearts. A Comforter. After all, who doesn't want to hug a puppy? But those in need of comfort are often in pain and feel surrounded by darkness. To be a light in someone's world, you will have to walk through the darkness. --------------------- What do most werewolf books have in common? They either focus on mates or on fighting. I decided to try a more unique route. No romance will be found here - this book focuses on the ties of friendship and hope. {BUSY FINISHING THE LAST SMALL DETAILS BUT THE WRITING PART IS DONE} ~ The truth always hurts. With the Carow family, it is well known Violet Edison knew her high school was going to be tough and boring, but she never thought that meeting a person that can turn into a dog was part of it. A dog? Yes, a dog. And so the beans were spilled and she met the first three animal shifters. With eight shifters living in secret within the Carow clan, things were bound to get hard. What started as just weirdness and fun became serious. Alice Carow, the head of the clan, was not going to let an outsider take away the people most precious to her. Extreme measures had to be taken. It's a story of love, mystery, friendship, trust, and betrayal. But what if the truth isn't the truth? Can these eight shifters keep Violet safe from the Carow Clan's dark secrets? And what are these dark secrets exactly? And why would random people in the clan have the ability to change into animals?
