When an unexpected trip to Las Vegas occurs, Will Byers finds himself to have too much to drink when he wakes up the next morning with a stranger right next to him. With not enough money to fly home to register for a divorce with his newlywed husband Micheal Wheeler, the two boys find themselves on a long road trip home forcing them to spend time together.

{BOOK 1} This takes place after season one and negates the mystery of wills possession and El coming back. It has been months since Will's return and Mike seems to be the only one who doesn't treat him like he's gonna break at any second. Will and Mike grow closer and romance ensues.

(DISCONTINUED TO REWRITE) You would've thought that Will had finally been saved from the controlling grasp of the Mind Flayer... But you were wrong. After The Mind Flayer was defeated, Vecna, a more blood thirsty villain took over the brain of Will. Will struggled to control Vecna's control and managed to do so well through a few months. But as Will's love for Mike became stronger, he was caught at a weak spot where Vecna could take him easy peasy. Only one person can save him now... And that's Mike. (Story and names were not thought of by myself. Will Byers has a secret, one that he can't share with anyone. He choses to hide it from his bestfriend, and his boyfriend, both of which the secret technically concerns. Will he stop ignoring his friends and find the courage in his heart to confess his true feelings, or will he indulge himself in his current (toxic) relationship? warning- this fanfiction contains depictions of a toxic relationship, otherwise considered as domestic abuse, along with trauma, and scenes that regard sexual assault that can be offensive to readers, viewer discretion. also, I do not own stranger things. 1987. Will was still in the upside down. It's been four years and everyone just gave up on looking for him. Except for Mike. He knew Will was still out there somewhere, he just had to keep looking. Will couldn't leave him, he wouldn't. right..? ---- In 1983 Will Byers just vanished. No one knew where he went. Some assumed his brother killed him, others just thought he ran away. That wasn't the case. The Vale of Shadows, aka the Upside Down. Will was fighting monsters at the age of 12. Alone in a cold world that somehow looked like Hawkins, but disgusting, cold and dirty.
