Fae is the only survivor from her plane crash, which went down deep in the Amazon jungle, where man has yet to venture. And with good reason... Story I wrote almost 10 years ago about a young girl and a Naga she meets in the jungle. I have previously uploaded this on deviantart and Fictionpress, but Wattpad wasn't on my radar back then, so I decided to upload it now. The two strongest and most intelligent packs of the United States just so happen to share borders. With this said, they were allies for a very long time. Their alliance was made easy by the fact that with every new alpha, there was a new mate bond that connected the packs. However, for the last two alphas, there hasn't been that unifying bond. Tensions are growing and the current alphas begin to argue, they know their alliance wont last without it. Their sons, certainly, butt heads too much to not have something to keep them from fighting when they take over. When the were-council contacts these two packs to let them know of a feline sighting, nobody is expecting what happens. Cat-shifters, are immensely endangered and often sold for breeding -and other unspeakable things- when found. With their extreme rarity, it was unlikely that one would be in the town between the two packs. With this said, the two packs were supposed to protect the feline, and hopefully the council would be able to find another feline mate for he or she. However, the feline in hiding is destined to be the mate of not one alpha, but two. //Shitty description for a shitty book lol but give it a chance, can't be worse than some of 'em out there right? "Careful human." The...thing said in a concerned voice. "W-What are you, what d-do you want?" I shakily asked him, curling up my body protecting myself. "Shh human don't be afraid. You are my mate." It was a deep teal green colour with gold and blue blended in with it that reminded me of his eyes. He was holding himself up with his arms looking at me curiously, head slightly bent to the side and all. "What are you, what do you want?" I asked slowly, my heartbeat had almost reduced to normal again but I was feeling a strange pull towards the creature in front of me. "I am a Merman and you are my mate." His voice was deep and sounded like music the way he spoke. But mate? "Mate?" I asked hoping to find out the way in which he directed this word. "My love," he paused looking into my hazel eyes. "Come closer human you are beautiful...and mine."
