Now, If Mikoto and her friends wish to survive the coming storm, they must battle a newly resurrected from the dead Grimoire Heart. The problem is.......Grimoire Heart aren't the only ones after Index.

Meanwhile however, one of the Diablos, Diablo Ezra, is sent by Wrathas to "have some fun" with Fairy Tail. Taking an interest in the 7 Level 5s of Mikoto's era.. Ezra hatches one of the Dragons.. Doppel, the Dragon of Inner Darkness.. The resulting 7 dark followers of Ezra.. bear a striking resemblance, to some familiar faces.. Can Fairy Tail defeat the Dark Level 5s? Or will Mikoto succumb to the darkness in her heart?
