In the year 2026, an alien race called the Zlocu led under the command of the bloodthirsty Emperor, Malgan Tomentradi, are waging war across the stars, believing that the era of peace was slowing down the next step of universal evolution. Now, they are determined to "awaken" everyone to let them know how peace made them weak. Recovering from a devastating global conflict, planet Earth took one of the worst hits from the Zlocu's onslaught. Despite the efforts of various governments, the Zlocu occupied 80% of Earth. Everything seemed hopeless until a group of celestial beings called "The Guardians" started to intervene in the conflict, spurred on by the discovery of the four physical incarnations that represent the principles of the Universe itself. All of them found on planet Earth, three Humans and an Alien. Now, these four heroes and other factions must work together to defeat the Zlocu Empire and Malgan's reign of tyranny. But more than war, they also must discover the meaning of being a hero and a warrior in the modern world, one in which Humanity may have lost its way. A tribute to the favorite anime and Science Fiction works of the 80s to the early 21st century, this is one tale to witness. ~Honors~ 1ST Place in Sci-fi category in the Purple Stars Awards 7TH Place in Sci-fi category in the Royalty Awards Cover by: Shrutiluvbooks #grandcafecommunity

Evangeline has never known anything but slavery. Being forced to work for a cruel pack at a young age, all she cares about is completing her chores, scrounging up enough food to eat, and making it through the day without getting beaten for misbehaving. But, one day, that all changes. The most powerful man alive, King Elijah Viotto, comes to visit her pack and claims young, human, slave Evangeline as his mate. And his queen. Little by little, secrets are revealed and Evangeline starts to learn that she isn't who she thought she was. No, she has a past that no one knew about, one that contains promises and hardship, and even a secret that makes her more powerful than anyone could ever have expected. ---- The spinoff book to Beautiful Belle and Alpha Grayson, the story of King Elijah and Queen Evangeline, and the making of the prophecy that changes everything. Can be read as a standalone.

WARM BODIES meets THE BREAKFAST CLUB meets ZOMBIELAND in this YA apocalypse story full of fluff, comedy and humans biting back. ✿ "When I imagined my high school crush would be dying to eat me, this wasn't exactly what I had in mind." ✿✿ Ava Sterling never expected she'd be the one solution to the zombie apocalypse. Then again, she never expected she would end up biting one of them either. But, hey, desperate times call for desperate measures. During a moment of intense panic, Ava's teeth end up firmly lodged in the arm of her old crush, now turned very much zombie. A spur-of-the-moment impulse that even drowning in mouthwash wouldn't erase. After this impromptu bite, Gabriel the zombie turns back into Gabriel the human and the zombie apocalypse suddenly takes a completely different turn. This not-so-fun revelation changes everything for Ava's ragtag group of survivalists. Tensions are higher than ever. Feelings are getting in the way. And it seems that being newly re-humanized does leave some nasty mental side-effects on the previously zombified. Still, not everything is that bleak for Ava and her survivors. For one, it's finally time for the humans to bite back. ✿✿✿ ACHIEVEMENTS: 🏅ONC Round One Winner, Ambassador's Pick & Shortlister WARNING: There is occasional swearing, some gore, and lots of laughs. You have been warned.

A misguidedly idealistic high school student founds a club to teach his classmates philosophy; when it becomes a cult, he must change course before the whole school drinks the Kool-Aid. Frank can think of no better way to prove his classmates have no moral compass than to write a manifesto satirically arguing for the virtues of selfishness; when this attempt at shining a light on his classmates' behavior is taken at face value, he creates a club to spread his teachings, hoping his ironies will be more obvious on a grander scale. The authoritarian rule of law he establishes meets little resistance from his club members, even as he wonders privately when they'll have enough and choose a more virtuous path. While Frank earnestly seeks to help his classmates, his methodology proves misguided in practice, and Frank must find where to draw the line before he permanently ruins his beloved high school. But then again, being a cult leader is too much fun to pass up... You Must Remember This adapts the foundation of Catch-22 in a high school setting, applying the same notion of dystopian bureaucracy to lampoon Silicon Valley's competitive spirit and, in these politically charged times, comment on the fragility of our own democracy. CW: minor character death (non-graphic), dark psychological themes (e.g. gaslighting), authoritarian regimes (including references to communism and Nazism) "Amazing, terrible, bourgeois horror" "At first I thought the story was about silicone implants" "I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves the classic American English course reading list or just wants to read something that will make them think."

I've always enjoyed reading poems, but this is the first time I've tried writing them. They might not be anything special, but for me, they're a part of my soul, as I voice my innermost thoughts through them. Please try reading them, and lemme know your views. It would mean a lot to me.
