My name is Makalya. Why do I even bother? I'm not myself. I can never be myself. Do this. Do that. That's all I ever hear. No is the only answer I ever get. Why have friends if i can't hang out with them? Why talk to people if I can't say what I want? Who am I except just another shell in this world? I'm my parent's puppet and there is nothing i can do except wait. Wait until I can be me. What sense does that make? None.

Iris= perspective of an angel in love (which could be a metaphor for anyone who is in love with someone that they see as 'from another world' and therefore unattainable) in which the angel is completely gaga over the woman and feeling things he's never felt before but at the same time wanting to keep it private because he's afraid that if it becomes of the material world then it will lose it's purity. It's a conflict between what your heart is urging you to do and what your head is telling you is the smart thing to do.
