When Frank Iero moved to the weird, old, town of Monmouth, sure, he expected big-ass mansions. What he didn't expect was for their dead inhabitants to become acquainted with him. On the night of October 31st, in 1872, all the residents residing in the Wicken Manor, including a young female guest and the owner himself, were murdered. The majority of the staff were shot or beaten to death, in some cases rape was involved. The owner, Gerard Way, was stabbed in the heart and left by the grand piano. The girl, Claira Moreau, was hanged just above it. A hundred and forty years ago there had been a tragedy, Frank knew that. He knew that the creepy mansion across the street was haunted as fuck. Hell, everyone did. It just was. And then, he went in. Let's just say that his life was never quite the same after that.

What happens when Frank Iero gets sent to an insane asylum for being suicidal? What happens when he meets the bipolar pyromaniac Gerard Way? Or his brother, Mikey Way, whose schizophrenic? Or Bob Bryar the homicidal? Sorry if the description sucks. This is going to be a Ferard ;)

It was so quiet that I could hear myself breathing. It was so dark that I couldn't see my own hands in front of my face. I was so scared that I was shitting bricks... Well, maybe not that. Oh, you get the point. My breathing came to a stop as I heard a noise outside. It has to be them. Everyone else is probably dead right now. The shuffling feet came closer. I couldn't contain the whimper that managed to escape my lips, despite my mental protests. The footsteps stopped. I crossed my fingers, hoping that whatever was out there would just keep it moving. The feet shuffled closer to the janitor's closet I was in. It wasn't that big, so the best I could do was sink further into the corner. I swear I saw my life flash before my eyes as the door opened. --------- What started off as another day at Belleville High became the nightmare of my life. I lost people I love, and I even found love... Or maybe it's too soon to call it that. I definitely feel something, though. Which is good. Everyday, people take advantage of the fact that we are alive and able to control our urges and feelings. It wasn't until the day the zombie apocalypse stared that I realized that, though. And in many ways, I realized this too late.

This follows the story of Gerard Way through is own eyes in the form of a Diary. Beginning while he is at Art College and before the band is formed. Can he stop himself from destroying his life? Will someone else help? or will it just be down to him in the end? -This is a diary styled book written from Gerard's perspective. it will not follow his real life completely but I will try and keep quite close.-
