Avilan was a common dwarf. Or was she? Trained in the art of archery, she has caught the attention of Lord Dain, of the Iron Hills, cousin to Thorin Oakenshield. After a days training with her unknown mentor, she had been summoned before Lord Dain. Thorin had asked his cousin for reinforcements in taking back Erebor. Dain sends the woman in his place. The company wasn't expecting a woman instead of Dain, a true warrior, but she earns her place along the way. Her skills are tested, and her emotions are strained. Meeting new family in Rivendell and fearing the loss of them. But she never expected to find love on this journey. Especially not with a prince. Will they both share the same feelings? Or will he be forced to let her go because of her heritage and family ties? Or will there be another reason as to why they cannot be together?

ser·en·dip·i·ty - noun the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way. It is often great tragedy when the tyrant has been deemed the innocent, and the innocent is left feeling like a monster. Ùsahtiel was once a royal, driven from her homeland by the Hunter in Black who claims her father's city as his own. Now, with nowhere else to turn, she has no choice but to take Gandalf's offer and join the Company. An outsider amongst outsiders, Ùsahtiel has been deemed the Hobbit's bodyguard. But she cannot simply outrun her past, for he is quickly catching up to her.

I am very sorry you all have to witness this atrocity of a book. Do yourself a favour and just pick something else to read. I can't defend myself. If you continue on after this warning, I won't be liable for your actions. Also, please stop commenting on the lack of punctuation. I am well aware.

Elementals were once a completely separate race in Middle Earth. Now, very few exist, and they live in the forms of Elves, Dwarves, Men, and Hobbits. One in particular was close to the crown prince of Erebor. She was like a daughter to him, until Smaug came and destroyed everything. Having the chance to reclaim his homeland, will Thorin Oakenshield be able to rebind what he'd broken so long ago? Note: Story contains a degree of graphic violence. Also published on Quotev AN: I do not own "The Hobbit" or any of its contents.

Her true name was spoken only in shadows: Levónalehím Saffronlé Lórien. Her past, fractured, hidden, and half-remembered-haunted every quiet step she took. Yet Middle-earth has a way of summoning those it has marked, whether they seek such paths or flee from them. Though few knew the truth of her origins, her bond with Bilbo Baggins ran deeper than blood or name, a quiet thread that tied her wandering heart to his door. But even that fragile tether could not hold her when fate intervened. When her road crossed that of Thorin Oakenshield and his Company, the turning of her life became inevitable. Fate bound her to their quest-the reclaiming of Erebor, a kingdom buried beneath sorrow, gold, and dragon-fire. Among Dwarves who eyed her with suspicion, and shadows that hunted what light she carried, Saffronlé found something she had not known since childhood: a place where her presence mattered. And in the echo of steel upon stone, beneath starlight and the whisper of ancient evils stirring, she discovered something rarer still-love, steady and unexpected, blooming in the unlikeliest of hearts. •PG-13 : Violence, Action, & Brief Strong Language• {My Rights : +cover, +character, & +my ideas}

"Wisteria Greenleaf at your service." I bowed at the halfling. He gulped, "I never knew an elf was to come to my home." "Neither did I." I whispered as I walked inside only to see a large group of dwarves sitting in the dining room. My teeth ground together as I saw the leader, Thorin Oakenshield. Wisteria is an elf but of a rare breed. She is the daughter of the king of Mirkwood yes, but she is more powerful than even him. Her mother gave to her the rare and precious gift of skin-changing before she died. Most of the time she is an elf, but when she changes, she is a lion, a wolf, and even a blue fire-breathing dragon. I don't own The Hobbit characters or the story plot itself. I only own Wisteria as a character.
