Dakota Milne is a 18 year old girl who lives in her home town of Edinburgh, Scotland with her mum and stepdad. But every September she visits her dad in California. Her dad's a director so he knows some people in high places; like Simon Cowell who is basically another father figure to Dakota, he introduced her to some boys around her age three years ago who are now her best friends.
