Draco and Netty used to be friends. As children of Great Pure blood families they were raised with strong beliefs in Blood purity and that their precious golden blood had to remain within these families. The Malfoy Family and the Blackwood Family were unusually close which led to both children growing up close under the watchful eyes of their parents. Natalia Blackwood and Narcissa Malfoy had started their plans of setting up Draco and Netty early on. The two became inseparable. It seemed to go well until Netty was sorted into Ravenclaw. The first ever non Slytherin in her whole Blood line. All of Narcissa's and Natalia's plans flew out the window as soon as Draco decided that Netty betrayed her blood.
