Overlooked, average, forgettable, quiet - a selection of the nicer words used to describe Samantha Raven. Being born into the world of drugs and crime, Sam's education in self-sufficiency began at birth. Even after being transferred into the care of the stalwart Raven household, she held tightly to the hard lessons learned throughout her childhood - such as the advantages to being underestimated, the cruel machinations of kindness, and the safety in silence. So when Henry Williams stumbled into her life, the epitome of sweet and sincere, she was inherently suspicious. And when her suspicions were confirmed through the accidental discovery of a business deal hinging on the results of a bet - Sam came to the realization that she was sick of playing the pawn. It would take a hell of a lot more than a bet to destroy this Raven - and it was past time that she became the main character of her own life, beginning with a healthy dose of revenge. ---- Raven Sisters Novellas: (1) To Regret a Raven - complete (2) To Destroy a Raven - complete (3) To Betray a Raven - complete (4) To Crave a Raven - complete (5) To Lose a Raven - coming Fall 2025 Though these stories are connected, they can each be read as a standalone. I don't just write Fan Fiction!! I wrote this story back in 2016. It was my first attempt at an original story. Despite the lack of editing, I am proud of it just because it was my own idea. ***WARNING*** This story has not been rewritten or edited at all. Despite that, I hope you all enjoy!! ***** Nicole's life was perfect, or at least she thought it was. Her husband wants out. She runs into an old love from her past and she doesn't know if it is worth fighting for her marriage or starting over.

February I thought we had something real-me and Arlo. We moved fast, but it felt right. We laughed, raced motorcycles, shared silence like it was sacred. I believed him when he said he wasn't the romantic type. I believed I was enough. Then he crashed, and while he was healing, I found the letters. Not for me. For her-Lyra, the girl who broke his heart. And suddenly, everything shifted. Every kiss, every quiet moment, every almost-I-love-you.

When Rebecca learns that her husband is having an affair she decides that she's done being the perfect little housewife and stay at home mom. Her darling husband is about to learn that even pregnant doormats have a limit. Jake can't believe that this is his life. How did everything go so wrong? Oh right, he slept with someone other than his wife. One minute he had the perfect life: the perfect marriage, perfect wife, perfect son, perfect career, and then the next he was losing it all for another woman. The worst part? He can't stand the woman. Never wanted her. While Rebecca focuses her broken heart on making her husband regret not getting a prenup (wonder if his girlfriend will still fall to her knees when he's broke), Jake focuses on winning back his wife and ridding himself of the she-devil who sunk her claws into his life. Will he be able to convince his wife there's more to his betrayal than meets the eye? This is a work-in-progress DRAFT. Chapters may be edited multiple times throughout the writing process. *Trigger warning* (ch 2) off-page SA between OW and MMC followed by consensual relations. ©2025 Sabrina Lynn. I didn't wake up one morning and decide to fall out of love. It was slower than that. Quieter. No big affair. No lipstick on the collar. Just a slow erosion of "us" every time he chose her over me. This isn't a love story. It's a resignation letter. And I signed it with a smile.
