Now, let's begin with the fun part ~ They often say three is a bad number. One feels left off. This is precisely what happened to the three childhood friends, Darren, Kyle and Nate. They used to hang out together but Darren and Nate somehow got closer and Kyle started having difficulties hiding his jealousy. Until one night, after a tragic mistake, Kyle is left on his own. Now, ten years later, Darren and Nate are happily mated and they both rule the Ravenstgh pack. Kyle, on the other side, has become a cruel, colder version of the lively teen he used to be. A series of strange events made me wonder if I truly was alone in the crowd. What if there is someone out there that actually wants me? Needs me? I wouldn't know. All I knew was that my life changed after I found myself face to face with a possible family. It was strange to know that he too was alone whilst standing in the crowd. Kyle's life hadn't been easy. Born as a rogue wolf, packless and wandering, he was used to fighting for his life. He had hoped that after finding his mate, everything would be different. Instead, he was betrayed, rejected and cast out, left to die. Struggling to survive and avoiding pack wolves in general, Kyle soon found himself stuck with a few options left, all of which were not appealing. To survive, he had to put his faith, and life, in the hands of a pack. But could he trust them after what his ex mate, a pack wolf, put him through?

Corruption That was the reason why the hammer crashed hard on wood, why the judge sneered down at him or why he felt his heart sink heavily in his body. He could faintly hear the crowd stand up and cheer, wicked delight in their eyes as they watched him getting dragged away. In their eyes, he was a murderer, a coldblooded killer that had slayed the pack leader's son in cold blood. In truth, he had come home to find that dispicable mutt trying to use his status to force his little sister. Enraged, Ben had thrown himself on the wanna be rapist and had let his animal take over, ending up killing the arrogant pup. Ben had felt no regret for saving his sister and had spat out the truth in the face of the leading Alpha and the pup's father. Sadly, the powerful man also held deep connections and had made sure that Ben was painted as a bloodthirsty murderer out for the lives of the innocent. Now he was sentenced to a lifetime on an island far away from civilasation. An island that was filled with true murderers, the worst of shifter kind. As he was shoved head first into the small jailer boat, all Benjamin could do was pray. And hope for a miracle.

New arrivals and additions to the pack weren't uncommon at all. As the Alpha's son, Brandon had seen plenty of rogues, humans and wolves file for sanctuary in the hopes of becoming part of his fathers pack. Normally, those new arrivals would be introduced to the pack and allowed to mingle, to find their own place to settle down. Yet when Brandon's father accepted a human to join them, it was kept secluded and sheltered, hidden from the pack. The only ones who were allowed to interact with the human, were the Alpha and Brandon himself. It made the Alpha's son question what exactly was so special about this one human.

Daniël is the average twenty-something guy whom could easily blend in with the crowd. Only, unlike the crowd he dissapears in to look normal, he doesn't have a home, nor a normal life. He lives his life in constant fear, a fear that most people would laugh about. He fears a colour. Officer Colton is just new but he takes his job seriously. Being transmitted to a smaller town where everyone knows everyone, he still needs to learn the ropes and faces of the people. Funny thing is, he has no problems with picking Daniël out of the crowd.
