Cecilia has been playing at the Opera Populaire as long as she can remember. She grew up there with many girls as her stand in mothers. She's known of the Opera Ghost that haunts the halls and stage. My clammy hands shook with emotion as I slid the beautiful, diamond ring off my finger. The disfigured man helplessly gazed into my eyes, transforming my soul. I was the only one to look past his hideous physical appearance, to know how to comfort a creature of darkness; I couldn't bare holding in my emotions any longer. The times have changed. Christine has moved on, Mme. Giry has left, and Erik has remained a hollow form. But when a young girl visits the opera house, it sparks a new flame that can not be put out.
