(PREVIOUSLY TITLED SIX INCH HEELS) Remi Simmons has always been a go-getter: independent and thirsty for success. After a dysfunctional family home leaves her to fend for her self, she is adamant that she cannot depend on anyone and will make a way for herself, by herself. Everything seems to be tunnel vision for her until she starts an unusual relationship with her professor, Omari Beckham-a chill person within the classroom, with his own secrets lurking outside of it. As their relationship begins to evolve seriously, Omari teaches Remi not only the basics of psychology, but how to put her pride aside and become someone's equal.

His mom and pop worked hard just tryna make ends meet, to keep food on the table and clothes on their kids back. But it was far from easy .. Seeing his parents struggle the way they did for years, motivated him to work ten times harder. He made it a mission to not end up like his folks, he wanted more in life. He knew there was more to life than what he grew up seeing. But he also knew in order to be somebody in this world as a black man he had to fight and strive for it and also dodge the bullshit that came along with it. Now that he's at the top of his game, making money, living the live he always wanted, seeing the things he never seen and moving up the success path .. he figured life would eventually turn out to be great but sadly he still isn't happy or content with how things are.. there's this one missing piece in his life that will fully complete him. But let's see how determined Ahmad will be to find what that missing piece is or what he will do to get it.

More detailed description in story. Abella Mobisson has been around boxing most of her life. Her father was a professional boxer turned boxing coach & owned a gym where she spent much of her pass time while growing up. After the death of her father & a series of bad relationships, Abella makes sure to keep a focus on her career as a shining star in the music industry. If it isn't music or family, she couldn't give you the time of day. The same goes for heavyweight boxer, Anthony Joshua. How could he give a serious relationship the time needed when he's trying to be the best boxer in the world? Or the best father, son, brother, or friend? A woman could wait. It isn't until Abella meets Anthony that she realizes maybe she doesn't know the boxing world as well as she thinks she does. To the world they're an unlikely pair despite a rumor surrounding the strangers. Abella is America's darling with a brash tongue who says & does what she wants. Anthony is Britain's humble champion who's a role model to all despite knocking people out for a living. It's these differences that make them clash like titans then fall.
