Angry and bitter about her parent's divorce, sixteen-year-old Faith Everett isn't pleased when her mother packs up their lives and moves them to the small town of Meadow. Faith has a bone to pick with the world and prefers to stay away from the company of others. She has her reasons, but she's not about to share them with anyone. She prefers her solitude, alone in her room with a bottle of alcohol to numb her sorrows. Hope Chamberlain, minister's daughter and often referred to as the Mother Theresa of Meadow, spends her free time helping people and doing whatever she can for the community. Hope is a devout Protestant who runs the church summer camp each year. She's been with her boyfriend, Matthew, since they were fourteen and they plan to get married as soon as they turn eighteen. When Faith's mom enrolls her in the church summer camp, she crosses paths with Hope, and the two could not be more opposite. Hope wants to help Faith find her love of religion. Faith just wants Hope to disappear. But it doesn't take long for them to both discover something that will completely change their lives. In this coming-of-age tale, we learn about love, loss, friendship, family, and just how much your heart can really break.

"You just have no idea." His voice was thick with restraint. "W-what," I breathed. His gaze flicked to my lips as his thumb stroked again. The calloused pad against my soft flesh sent goosebumps down my arms. His once warm eyes were dark as they lifted and bared into my soul. "What you do to... men." His husky whisper weakened my knees. I almost fell but his other hand settled on my hip, pulling me closer to him. "What you do to me," he added on a breath. The hand on my jaw shifted. His fingers left trails of tingles as he slipped them back slowly, under my earlobe and into my curls. *************************************************** As a young girl, Charlotte Avery's favourite pass time was daydreaming about her Prince Charming: Archer Johnson. As an anonymous classmate begins courting Nick via text, he's suddenly desperate to figure out just who this dashing secret admirer is--even if it means actually socialising. He'll be fine--so long as he keeps his wits about him and doesn't fall for this probably-catfisher. Can't be too hard, right?

"Did you just quote Mean Girls?" Noah asks, tilting an eyebrow. I smirk, passing over his coffee. "Did you just admit to watching Mean Girls?" Auden Baker thought that college would sail by swiftly and silently. When she arrived into her empty dorm room, it was perfect. The calm before the storm. Then Noah Dillon walked in. Arrogant, undeniably cute and terribly stubborn just like Auden. Things could still go right, yeah? I mean, there weren't really any problems. Except for the fact that she might be slowly falling in love with him. And that they declared a joking war. [cover made by yours truly]
