Slytherins as a whole are often the most misunderstood people. As soon as students see a snake symbol on your robes they deem you as cruel or evil. Delilah Rees was one of the many Slytherins that realized this stereotype and despised it with a burning passion. Sure she could be rude to Gryffindors but that's only when they would judge her before she could open her mouth.
