Louis Tomlinson used to have a great life, good-looking boyfriend, supporting family, tons of friends, you’d think he’d have a very successful life. That was true until his good-looking boyfriend, Harry Styles, decided to sign up for The XFactor. Louis thought it would be best if they parted ways so Harry could advance in his career and Harry whole-heartedly agreed. Louis always had Harry in the back of his mind, so to get his mind off of things he started dating a boy named James. James appeared caring, loving even. He should have listened to his mother when she told him looks could be deceiving. It’s now five years later and James is coming home with different women every night leaving Louis to sleep on the couch. He also leaves marks on his body, bruises, scratches and bite marks. One day, James tells Louis he has to take his niece Sidney to a CD signing at HMV. Who knows what the smallest things can lead to.

It was supposed to be a stress reliever, just to help Louis get on his feet and fight this thing with no outward interference. But what starts out as just a harmless plan, becomes something so much more. Harry’s looking at him in a new way. Louis, who should be so shaken up, is nothing but strong. As days and weeks pass, what once was just a mere affection somehow, becomes jaded. It’s nothing brotherly and has nothing to do with Louis’s sickness. They are both falling for each other, in that beach house, as they experience laughs and hardships, strengths and vulnerabilities. They form so passionate and bonding, it’s almost dangerous. Their love seems unbreakable. But is it?

Louis comes to find out that his feelings for Harry have not changed since the X-Factor. But what happens when Harry finds out..? Will they be together, or will it ruin their friendship forever? Not to mention, when they find out Niall and Liam have a little secret they've been hiding..

Eleanor ends things with Louis. Harry takes this as his chance to tell Louis something he should have told him a long time ago. How will Louis react? Louis goes into the hospital for a week after hitting his head on a limo. When he wakes up, it seems as if things are ok, but it just might take a turn for the worse, as many other problems arise along the way. Will he and Harry be able to keep their relationship going strong, or will things get in the way?
