Evie wonders whether to accept, or be offended, or quite what she should do. In the end, the simplest thing seems to be to say yes, because she quite likes Natalie as well. So. Ta-dah. Romance. Or it’s trying to be romance, like the gritty end of romance. So HEA or HFN in the end, promise, if anyone cares, but with some worky and friendsy and chick-lit stuff along the way. "Are you... lost?" Someone asked, her tone impatient. I stopped scanning the room to find the woman behind the voice. I blinked. She had the most luminous blue eyes I had ever seen.
