Ever since Tord and Edd had their baby daughter, and Tord killed his father, they returned to the base. Tord trained Edd and his daughter to be the best soldiers they could possibly be. Edd is second-in-command, a rank just below Tord's leadership. Their daughter, whom they have named Ellody, is still pending. But, Tord has ordered his soldiers to respect his 'wife' and daughter. Well, soon to be wife/husband once they have their wedding day. But, when something terrible happens Edd, while pregnant with their son, what does Tord do? Well, obviously, he has to go and find the captors and rip their throats out. But, at age 10, Ellody wants to go along. At first, Tord objects. Ha. Ellody won't take no for an answer. Nobody takes her mother and baby brother away on her watch.

After Tord crushed Edd's heart, he regretted everything he's ever done with him. He regretted showing Tord his body. Allowing Tord to touch him. Letting Tord do other things to him. It's been months after Tord left until Edd realized something wasn't right. He realized it the moment he felt the first kick in his stomach.
