Hello, to any and all interested. This will be among my first forays into writing. The story has a loose idea, and is built around some characters I had in mind. They're rather different, and a few even have some rather rather unique features and quirks about them. And they'll be learning how to live their lives among other people. Simple enough, right? Wrong. This world will be built upon suspicion, betrayal, and the value of trust. The relationships and development of the characters is what I would say the main goal is. To be able to see their growth, to become attached, to want to see them flourish. And what's life without a little magic? The setting is somewhat close to modern day life, and navigating the difficulties of it as a person. Between the emotions, the turmoil, and passion, there will be as much action as romance, passion as intensity. Hopefully you all enjoy the ride with me.

Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you. If you've already read it once and just felt like you had to read it again, maybe it will provide some new enjoyment. Who knows? Maybe I'll actually finish some other stuff I have on here.
