Hat kid and y/n have been best friends ever since they were little. When hat kid comes back from her adventures on earth, the first thing she does is tell y/n everything. Y/n, now eager to visit the strange and wondrous planet of earth, decides to take a trip there herself. Hat kid, comes with her, because she wants to introduce y/n to her friends. Y/n is known to others as hood kid, because she wears a hoodie all the time. Hat kid was never really given a name by her parents, so she just goes by hat kid, or hattie for y/n and those who are close to her. Y/n has a space ship that is similar to hat kids in terms of layout, but y/n has a different color pallet. The interior of y/n's ship has mostly a mixture of pinks, blues, blacks, and purples. Well, there are some outlying colors on the ship, courtesy of hat kid.

(y/n) is Hat Kid's best friend. She's older and more mature than Hat Kid, but she's had many adventures. Over the course of time, (y/n) has heard so much about this place called "Subcon Forest". So she decides to check the place out for herself. But before she left, Hat Kid had warned her about someone in particular who lives in that forest: this so-called "Snatcher". (y/n) ignores the warning and bravely goes to Subcon Forest. But her bravery dissolved instantly when she met Snatcher. He told her that his last contractor had escaped, and offers her to take his old contractor's place. But Snatcher's last contractor was Hat Kid. (y/n) accepts Snatcher's offer, and eventually develops a crush on the ghostly creature. After she and Snatcher get into a bit of a fight, (y/n) finds the courage to confess her love to him. Snatcher is stunned by her brave confession. Will he let her stay in his forest, or will he reject her and send her back home?
