Professor Kukui was heading to the Kanto Region to study Kantonian variants of some Alolan Pokemon, and invited Sun and Hau along to join him. This lit a new spark in Sun's soul, not only could he now get to go on a new adventure, with new Pokemon, but he would also get the oppourtunity to find the girl, that he'd missed so dearly, Lillie.
