Welcome back to The Monthly Gemstone Awards! Similar to 2019, we will be hosting a contest every month, with entries opening on the first day of the month, and results announced on the final day of the month. But was is different, you ask? Well, instead of submitting stories you have already written, these awards will give you prompts that you must write about. And before you turn around at the thought of writing something that isn't your main project, stop! Think about it. In the Sunflower Writing Circle, a critique-focused book club, members and their books are randomly assigned weekly pairings to read two chapters a week and leave a high level of critique. New assignments are posted on Mondays. All books and people are welcome, apply inside!
