Unova, a region where hundreds of Pokemon are still undiscovered and a year before the immoral Team Plasma threatened the peace. Due to the Hero and his friends' valiant efforts the evil organization was disbanded; members scattered across Unova. Now, Professor Juniper has come back from her journey of assisting the new champion to an eager young girl, one whose Pokemon journey was put off for years by the events, Riley. And the minute the professor returns she's out the door. As her journey begins, Riley meets a young boy who's labeled himself as a failure, but refuses to accept her help or convenience her with respect. They reluctantly travel together and Riley becomes aware of a name being used to refer to her: Champion, though she hasn't won any gym badges or done anything special. Meanwhile, in the shadows, Team Plasma reorganizes, gaining strength under corrupt Sages and officers and led by Ghetsis. The team preaches a new direction, but the same motives added to a more "direct" and violent approach. It searches for objects it's lost and powerful members who've fled; all the while planning a destructive and unstoppable endgame, eventually crossing paths with Riley. The new trainer sees Team Plasma's vile actions and builds up a hatred for it, becoming determined to stop them whenever they meet while continuing THE JOURNEY OF A CHAMPION. Marco loved him when they first met on that cold, autumn day. Marco always loved him, but was too scared to admit it... Too scared of his new best friend becoming his new worst enemy. Jean was never sure of anything in his life, but could the thing that seemed utterly wrong be totally and completely right? Jean started falling in love with the freckled boy, but frightened for all the same reasons plus worried of what his mother would think, he never confessed. If either confesses, well it's hard to say... If everything will be alright...
