Everything was normal in Japan until one day it all went to hell. Some people started to act differently and began attacking people with quirks, especially anyone who had a very powerful quirk. While this was happening, Izuku was in the park training to get OFA when everything went down. He heard all the screaming, and he then ran towards the noise where he came upon the horrifying sight. He tried to help some people, but he was quickly shoved to the side so they could save themselves. As this continued, he then thought back to his mom and raced home, ignoring everything else. Arriving at his apartment he saw lots of blood and gore, it took all his will power to not throw up before he ran up the steps to his home and his eyes widened in horror at the sight before him. His mom was already dead. After that day, he found refuge in UA, which became a safe zone, one of the few that could sustain itself for a long time. Him and a couple thousand people managed to get into the school, where they quickly beefed up the defenses of the school. Hero's, police and the military tried their best to hold back the massive zombie hordes, but they could only do so much against a literal sea of bodies running at them. For Izuku afterwards, he was assigned as a scavenger/runner who'd look for resources, food, survivors, and possible safe points in the city. While he stayed in UA, he met Katsuki and lots of other teens who were planning to he heroes but now they all live in UA. Though the most surprising thing was when Katsuki pulled him aside one day and hugged him and simply said sorry. After that day, his friendship improved greatly with him, and in a weird way, they acted like brothers. But one day, when they were scavenging in an old military outpost, they were attacked by a couple of zombies, and Izuku was bitten. But instead of turning, he stayed human, which meant one thing. Izuku Midoriya was immune to the virus.
