Every week Zelda's parents hold a masquerade ball to encourage her to find a husband. At one particular dance, Zelda meets someone she feels she has seen before but has trouble remembering. He comes to every masquerade, but his face is always covered. Will she figure out who this mysterious suitor is? While this is a romance type novel, nothing inappropriate is in it. Link is known to be a man of few words. In this case, it is completely true. He has been mute since he was very little, no one knows why. As you can probably expect, other people his age are rather vocal, especially about him not being so. Zelda sees through it. She takes a look further to see who is behind all of the silence, but it doesn't work out how she expected it to. An event leads to Zelda staying over at Link's house. They both feel the romantic tension and constantly think about addressing it, but although they're more comfortable around each other than anyone else, saying just three words scared them both more than anything. They keep their true feelings to themselves, until Zelda finds a way to somehow break that tension... (All characters are owned by Nintendo)

Zelda and Link meet at school before a test. Link is severely sleep-deprived, and Zelda's friend is out sick. While usually an introvert, Link's tired brain seizes the opportunity to sit next to the girl he's noticed since school began. Completed, but not 'wrapped up' just a cute fluffy ending. Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. Before the rise of Calamity Ganon, Princess Zelda of Hyrule was appointed to travel across the lands. She was to learn about the technologies of the ancient civilizations before her kingdom rose and speak to the leaders of each nation. And along the way, she must bring her trusty friend and guard, Link. But as they travel, with nobody else around to talk to, they grow to find an affection for each other that's deeper than a friendship. But how, in a world governed by politics and potential war, could they find a way to stay together?

Zelda is a lonely junior at Hyrule High School, and she is constantly a victim of Ganondorf and his gang's bullying. Link is a popular basketball player who everyone wants to be friends with. He didn't even know Zelda existed until they were in the same biology group. When Link notices Ganondorf's awful treatment of Zelda, will he become the knight in shining armor she's been waiting for?
