Naruto Uzumaki, the Empress of Konohagakure, is sick. He finds out that while sick his children and husband don't want to see him. They claim he will get better. His youngest son stayed with him. However, the Emperor's tune quickly changes when he finds out why his wife is actually sick.

Shikamaru Nara at a young age found his fixation in one Naruto Uzumaki who remained oblivious to his situation when it comes to tethering oneself to such a reckless person. But he learns the hard way when his fight with Sasuke at the Valley of End winds up with him winning but dying for the briefest moments. Now knowing of the bond Naruto has chosen to stay by Shikamaru's side for better or worse.

Sasuke has changed. He changed a lot of himself to stay by Naruto's side. Naruto acknowledges the change and welcomes him with open arms always.
